Russia Project
To read journal posts or see new images from Russia, go here, or visit my MySpace page.
From 1993 to 1997, I traveled to Russia six times for a total of about six months. During that time, I had amazing experiences and made many friends. I published several articles in the Charleston, WV newspapers as well. Working with the Russia and West Virginia Foundation, I was able to spend time with students and educators, learning about them and documenting their lives. I was also honored to have a photo exhibition of my work displayed at the West Virginia Cultural Center. The exhbition later traveled throughout the state.
My intention is to develop a new documentary project, using photographs and and sounds to reflect the lives of my friends from the 90s and show how they have changed today.. The project will have its own website, and I hope to display it as well, as a photo/documentary exhibition.
For information on how to support the project and eventual display and promotion of the project will be accepted through the Russia and West Virginia Foundation, a 501C3, non-profit organization. Send me an email for more information,
